[NTLUG:Discuss] Internal modems....and PPP

I just loaded a box up with Red Hat 8.0 trying to do a PPP (dial up) 
server.  I used 3 different types PCI modems.  When I plug a phone line in 
to each on the modems...they are all busy.  Unplug...and the line just 
rings.  In Webmin, under the serial port configuration, it looks like it 
wants a serial device path to each modem.  Since I have never done dial up 
in or out with Linux, this is new to me.

Any chance anyone could give a hand here?
