The USB drive ony becomes a part of the boot process if your CMOS chip is
ordered to boot to boot to it and you should be able to change your boot
options in BIOS settings, (the computer's setup menu, which you'll find
instructions to go into during early stages of boot up). So if you don't
want to boot to USB drives just remove that option from the setup menu - or,
just don't leave a USB drive plugged in during boot up.
