[NTLUG:Discuss] Any way to "packet capture" a serial port?

Having to stay at my mom's house (elder care issue) and thus use dial-up
for my Internet.  With prodigy.net I can't get past the Sign-on part
because it doesn't like my user name.  Called support and when they
heard "Linux" it was over.  So, I'm going to try Winders and see if that
works.  If it does I'd like to discover the magic it uses so i can
switch back to Linux.

Any ideas?
