But Cinelerra can't do mpeg2, and it blew up on every DivX file I tried.
Can you be more specific about what codecs it can handle?

I didn't say Cinelerra wasn't good at handling particular formats,
it's just not a general media editor.... you need to choose formats
that it can deal with.
