I believe it has something to do with Woody's default use of kernel 2.2
Johnny. I haven't used Woody in a while and have since moved to Sarge
which is stable enough for the three servers I run it on (file server,
mail server, router). I'd say try Sarge but if you're adamant about
using Woody then use the BF2.4 install cd since it uses the newer 2.4
kernel series. I'm sorry I couldn't be more specific but IIRC the
binutils config file issue was something to do with Kernel 2.2.
