Why when installing Woody does the binutils package (using dselect and
apt to install) make you edit some config file that bloats the kernel
just for linking? Does this apply to the default woody kernel? And, if
it does, how do you go about upgrading the kernel to a newer version and
not have to worry about breaking what is supposed to be a fresh install?
