[NTLUG:Discuss] ftp install of SuSE 9.1

Howdy,
  First, It is god to have the list back.  Thank you Chris?

 Secondly, I am still waiting for my SuSE 9.1 disk set to show up.  Last
week, I decided to just do an ftp install on one machine to try it. 
SuSE 9.1 is a nice step up.  I can't spot any massive improvement over
9.0, but it seems to work a little smoother and the 2.6 kernel is nice. 
The thing I want to point out to any cheapskates out there is that the
ftp install seems to have everything the retail version has.  In earlier
releases, they always left a few things like Java and MainActor out. 
They still don't have downloadable ISOs, but if you need to do it
cheaply, try the ftp install.
