I am not sure what you mean here. Do you want someone to 
recover data from a dead or dying hard drive? Or is the hard drive 
okay?

There are tools which let you plug a laptop hard drive into a regular 
PC. But you have to be careful with them. Plugging them in wrong 
may kill the drive.

Your best bet is to put the laptop on a network and copy it to a 
network.
