[NTLUG:Discuss] Problem with Mandrake 9.0

I installed the new mandrake 9.0 , replacing RH 7.3.

The ppp connection is causing me a  heartache. It shows connected and a destination IP but no browser sees the internet. And any Pinging to the destination address gives no response and total loss of data.

Any advice.
