Hi List mates,

I have been working on Linux for quite long now (6 mths to be precise).
All this time I was learning how to install, configure and tune Linux and
Linux related software. During this process I learnt quite a lot about Linux
and its internals. However, all this time I never indulged myself into any
serious programming. I always fiddled around with the OS and its related
software like KDE and GNOME and several others.

However I think its time now to get involved into some serious business. I
have downloaded a new distribution, that is , BlueLinux. This distribution
is specially made for helping the schools. The BlueLinux guys have started a
new project that is the BlueLinux translation project. This projects aims at
providing Internationalization to BlueLinux.

I have decided to get involved in this project proactively. I wish to
internationalize BlueLinux for my native language Marathi and National
Language Hindi.

Before I venture into this I wanted to know what do you gurus feel about
this?
Any tips, suggestions, advises, previous experiences with such or related
projects would be of great help before I embark on this.

Thanks and Regards,

Obedience has a simplicity. Disobedience needs a little higher order of
intelligence. Any idiot can be obedient - in fact only idiots can be
obedient.
The person of intelligence is bound to ask, 'Why? Why I am supposed to do
this? And unless I know the reasons and the consequences of it, I am not
going to involve in it.'
