  I highly recommend smoothwall (www.smootwall.org).

  If you have installed redhat, then you can easily install smoothwall.
It is an automatic.  It is stable.  The developers are a bit weird, but
the product is good.

  If you are going to do a firewall using redhat, then I recommend
upgrading to 7.2, and looking on www.freshmeat.net for a "firewall"
generator that will generate the rules for a firewall.  This makes it very
easy.
