CCCC also has a for-credit Linux class which costs $126 for in-county,
$158 out-of-county. Early Reg.stration starts Nov. 14. The class fills quickly.
THe instructor is a network engineer at Worldcom and he's knowledgeable.
Students must design, implement and document an individual project.
Nothing too hard but designed to make the class more interesting.
ITNW 2371 - NETWORK OPERATING SYSTEM
The focus of this course is on installation, implementation, and support of
a Unix/Linux operating system to function as a server in a client/server
internetworking environment. This course provides the knowledge and skills
required to install, configure, administer and troubleshoot in a Unix/Linux
network server environment, Windows NT, Novell NetWare environment.
