Hi!
I recently upgraded one of my PC's with a Soyo SY-7VCA motherboard (it
was cheap - OK? :-)
It has a built-in sound port - which I want to disable so I can use my old
Ensoniq card.
I can't figure out what combination of things I need to do to make that
happen though. The manual for the Motherboard says to use some handy
software package that comes on the CD-ROM ...which of course only works
with Windoze - and I don't *own* a copy of Windoze.
There don't seem to be any jumpers to do this either.
The joystick port on my Ensoniq is working - but with the same set of
drivers that worked OK with the Ensoniq on my old motherboard, I get no sound.
I'm running SuSE 7.0 btw.
Help!
