Coriolus-Open Press publishes the Linux TCP/IP Stack Source Commentary or something
like that. They're big thick black paperbound books that don't fit nicely with the
others on the shelf due to their odd size (wider than they are tall) but maybe what
you wan't. It's kernel 2.2.x source though, not cutting edge but I recall spotting
a bunch of them at 75% Off Books (Garden Ridge Center, 75 Central & Spring Creek in
Plano) but @ $4.98 a pop for computer books, what the hey...
