this still failed on mingetty
but it gave me the idea to try the stock kernel
that failed on init as well...but differently
INIT:PANIC: Segmentation Violation at 0x804b908! Sleeping for 30 Seconds
each successive boot gives more and varied errors until
the kernel wont even load now...it fails with strange things like
CPU=1
000xxxfff 0000 fffff
and more like that
what is going on
is it hardware failure?
do I need to worry about investing the time into a reinstall?
I am now trying to copy my home to a non-boot drive

I removed no hardrives
and all my install partitions are on one drive so the other drives dont
affect programs just my storage space
