We had the problem with "times" after 248 days, 13 hours, 13 minutes
56.?? seconds.
I've been using google:  http://www.google.com/linux
to do searches on "jiffies" and it looks like jiffies wrap / used to
wrap at 495
days.

In any event I'll take a look on gnu.org, thanks for the tip.
