I just happen to observe this information on CompTIA's this put a little smile
on my face, maybe it will do the same for some of you.

Revised Exam
The A+ Advisory Committee has determined and identified the content areas to be
changed, updated, or added for the anticipated revision of the A+ exams. It is
anticipated that the revised test will go live around July 31, 2000. These
changes will affect the current objectives posted on the website. CompTIA
anticipates posting the new objectives and weightings in April 2000.

These changes will include:

Elimination of the Windows 3.1 objectives and items
Elimination of the Customer Satisfaction objectives and items
Developing new test objectives and items in the following areas.
Windows 98
Windows 2000
Windows NT, version 4.0
Linux - baseline, elementary information only
