That's kind of easy to do though. If all the students have their home
directories in /home (and assuming the students already own their own
directories...which they should), just do this:
log in as root.
cd /home
chgrp teachers *
chmod 770 *
Wham-o, you're done :) If your home dir situation is different though, write
back and I'd be glad to knock out a script for you to do this.
