Career training school in Richardson Texas is looking for a contract
classroom instructor to lead six to twelve students
in a fully equipped classroom and a fully-equipped computer lab.
Curriculum of the courses are fully-developed and has
been in use for two years. Candidates must be local. No relocation fee
will be paid.

Compensation: contract straight hourly pay at $25 per hour with
minimum 25 hours per week or more depending on demand
from student enrollments.

The basic requirements are:
Must have very easy to understand classroom instruction method for
students who are new to desktop computer or laptop technolgoy.
Must have strong desire to teach computer technology.

Accedemic requirements:
Associate or B.S. degree in computer/Computer Networking Technology or
related field with 2 or more years of hands-on experience
in Computer Support and/or Network Support. Candidate must present
valid credentials and document work experience.
Candidates cannot be hired until application is submitted and
officially approved by career school agency.

High school diploma with 5 or more years of working experience in
Computer Support or Network Support.

Must have extensive knowledge of CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+
course plans. A+, Network+ and Security+ certifications is preferred.
Must have hands-on Microsoft Desktop Support of Microsoft XP
Professional and Windows 2000 server

Must know how to tear down and rebuild desktop PCs and Laptops and
lead students to do the tear down and rebuild of Desktop computers.
Must be able to demonstrate how to upgrade hardware or install new
CPUs,  DDRx, Sata, DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, upgrade and install
one or two working operating systems on the same desktop PC or laptop.
Must be able to demonstrate hands-on local area network and
wireless network router installation, troubleshooting and new wireless
technologies. Must know basic network laser printer setup and how
to control printer jobs.  Demonstration of basic Microsoft server
active directory and domain setup is a plus.

Must allocate time to monitor student attendance, grade homework
assignments, administer and grade mid-term and final exams, and be
prepared to answer any question from students. Must allocate time to
monitor and document students learning progress and their readiness
to take their A+, Network+, Security+ and  MCDST certification exams.
