Well there is *one* alternative - I host my website/wiki/etc from a
computer here at home - it's dog slow because it's heading the wrong
direction up the DSL cable - but from a convenience and cost perspective
it's unbeatable. But this time I got roped into setting up a
site for my local Mini Cooper car club and I think they need
independence from me personally so that if I left the club they could
continue to run their stuff.
I'm slowly running through that list of recommendations - I have to say
that so far dreamhost looks unbeatable - but I'm not done with the list
yet.
