 Howdy,
I am trying to setup a couple of Raspberry Pis with
 the current
distro of Raspbian, which is called Jessie.  The
 problem is getting a
usable web browser. .  Any suggestions?

To paraphrase a bit, DuckDuckGo is your friend. I found several links for
putting browsers on R-Pi. Maybe not bloatware like FF but other, tinier
browsers. Not sure why a robot arm would want to browse the web but
hey, why not. Because it's there, eh?

On a slightly different note, I recently bought a 10" RCA Android 5 tablet
on sale at Walmart.com for $85 total. Guts, feathers and everything AND
it has wifi, Firefox, anything else you want from the Play Store AND it has
an HDMI output AND a trackpad "mouse" and a full size USB port. $85.
AND no Chinese spyware. It's in a hard case with a hard keyboard dock
(with the trackpad).
Helluva deal. So, it's Android. That's a sorta-kinda Linux. So far, I like it.

Fred
