If you have SSH setup on your Linux box, I really like the AndFTP android
app.  The free version does SFTP, which should work with most "out of the
box" ssh setups, just put in your credentials and connect.  It stores your
connections (if you want it to) so next time around, you just tap connect,
and copy the stuff around.
