Thank you for the hint (silly me didn't think of that) ... just to be clear for anyone interested ... the link at the bottom of the message is:

but the actual search string is (I tested this) ...
    site:http://www.ntlug.org/pipermail/discuss/ wicd

I did find that URL by following the link at the bottom of the message and then linking to the email archives ... in case anyone wants to know that as well.
