[NTLUG:Discuss] Slackware Virtual IPs

I've got an ancient Slackware 8.1 box running as an ftp server.  It
was originally configured with two virtual IPs on eth0:1 and eth0:2.
Now I want to drop the virtual addresses and just use eth0.
Everything I have read say the virtual IPs are configured in
/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.  However, in my file the virtual IPs are not
mentioned.  I've gone through the /etc folder and the virtual IPs
don't exist in any readable file.  Anybody have any ideas where else
to look for Ethernet interface configuration on one of these beasts?
