Hi Stuart,
Got it! From the vantage point of being a newbe to Linux, here's what I
particularly appreciated about your idea:
1) You gave me a specific command after you told me what the command would
do for me (give me a list of wine related packages).
2) You then gave me a specific command after you told me how the command
would solve my problem (remove each one you don't want).
3) Anticipating potential problems using the 1st solution command, you gave
me an alternate solution command that resulted in less work (it
automatically removed the dependent packages!).
I'm rapidly finding that knowing the specific commands is over 1/2 of the
Linux learning curve. Awesome!!! I'll keep this for future use.
