[NTLUG:Discuss] follow-up on Mandriva 2010.2 ONE download issues

A big thank you for the suggestion that the download file might be 
corrupt on the download site ...
Downloaded from another mirror and all went well, except ...
Although ONE KDE4 recognized my video card and had all the setting 
correct, it claimed that some settings were wrong and refused to start GUI
ONE Gnome got hung on stopping the boot loader again ... sigh

In the meantime, this attempt at Mandriva 2010.2 ONE, was so I could 
compare Mageia-1 Live to it ... and Mageia-1 Live does boot and run ... 
so I guess there is no comparison?  Sigh, again.
