I am excited to see this happen. I look forward to seeing what Cory
can do here. I have an idea for a workshop or two. I don't consider
myself the biggest expert on either, but I think I could do a workshop
on Asterisk or building your own custom Linux distribution. I hope
someone more qualified volunteers to do these and I'll do another idea I
have.

I think we want to make a good impression on NTPCUG and I am glad
someone qualified like Dennis has stepped forward for this. I expect he
could use help, so please volunteer to assist him. I hope I can do a
demo on embedded Linux, but we will see what comes up.

I'd like to continue to serve as Vice President, if the Board is
willing to have me.

I have written my first article for the NTPCUG newsletter. I have exchanged
a few emails with Chuck Fiedler. One thing I see is that they don't do much
editing. Since I want to make a good impression for our Linux group within
NTPCUG, I am hereby soliciting reviewers. I'll write an article most months,
if they continue to accept them. I know from previous writing assignments
that writers need editors. If you are willing to read and send me comments
before I submit articles, please let me know. My first article is an easy
guide to creating secure, encrypted USB flash drives.
I'll also help others get articles submitted, if such help is wanted.
Good day,
Ralph
