[NTLUG:Discuss] IDE/SATA to USB cables

At today's NTLUG presentation (great job, Dave!), several people 
noted that they have IDE and SATA to USB cables that they've used 
to hook up drives to machines.  I've seen such cables at Frys and 
other places... but it's often hard (for me at least) to know which 
ones are likely to work and which ones won't.  Some of them look 
really cheap and perhaps unreliable.

Can anyone tell me which brands or makes of such cables would be 
good to get?
