Howdy,
  I don't know what you are trying to do, so I may be offering tools
that are not optimal.  A VPN with only one computer is not actually very
useful.  You need to have another end you want to connect to and that
end may drive your choice.  OpenVPN is a good vpn solution for some.
Hamachi works well for some.  Tell us more.
