When I was running openSUSE (thru 11.0) I discovered this site and
book marked it because it does not show up in searches.
One caveat. These are contributed User builds. For me, some worked,
some did not. YMMV
Couple of reasons it may not show up in Google searches is the site
does not want to be searched and makes it difficult for
Search Engines and SPAMBots to search and low activity. Google is a
high interest (popular) cache search. Sites that are not very popular
do not stay in Google cache long.
If you are interested you can augment Google search easily. One way is
to run side-by-side searches in Bing and Google:
<http://www.bing-vs-google.com/>
Since you are a programmer you could probably add other Search Engines
to Bing and Google. There used to be a Search Service called "Ask
Jeeves" which submitted your search string to every Search Engine
known to work at that time. Even Web Crawler. I used "Ask Jeeves"
exclusively until Google came along.
