[NTLUG:Discuss] i8kmon init script

Greetings.

For whatever reason, SuSE 11.0 is not shipping an init.d script for
i8kmon.  And after much Googling, I have not been able to find a working
one References to one, yes, but an actual copy of it for Suse?  Nope.
Did find some for other distros, but they fail to run on SuSE, and I
don't know enough about what the other distros are doing/not doing to be
able to map to SuSE.

I was at the Linux Install project this morning specifically for this
(and three other other issues, one related).  Unfortunately, there did
not seem to be any Senior levels present today.  And after over two
hours of Googling for an answer to this, I am tired of beating my head
on the wall on this.  And without this working properly, my laptop
normally runs at about 70c-95c.

Help?
