Keep in mind where Plan 9 currently fits....college/research.

Most of us use the Operating System to run software....so, like what Chris
is saying - there's a VERY good chance that most software you want to run
will all have to be hand-compiled and/or re-programmed to take advantage
of the Plan 9 internal differences.

Would love to hear a Plan 9, home use success story.
