You should not need to be a Linux Guru, and a programmer on whatever
software you are trying to use, just to use Linux -- a situation I am
finding too often when I try to upgrade or use something.  I would love
to be able to just install something, set any required configurations
(preferably in sysconfig if its a service), and then start it and have
it work.  Track my posts to this list to see how often I run into issues
with getting stuff to work -- issues that routinely wind up not getting
solved.
