I've seen zimbra and I'm not sold on it.  There seems to be less 
flexibility than I'm wanting.  I'd rather not install a 'black-box' but 
would rather like to understand the process and flow from start to 
finish.  Also I like the ability to add future features and not be tied 
to vendor lock-in.

I've see eGroupware and I've looked at sieve, Tequila and other projects 
that try to offer automated management and centralized (database/ldap) 
configuration and user data.  I was just wondering if anyone else is 
using a setup similar to what I'm wanting to do.
