Great Idea
also you can get refill kits on ebay for both cartridges, total 10-15
dollars (incl shipping!!)
I use them and they work great. you get many refills for the price
I just got a black refill for $4 incl shipping
if I wasnt given the AIW I would never have had one
HP Inkjets are moneypits and the AIW models are blackholes with very
limited Linux support
I have a lexmark x4270, not an HP
I still feel that HP makes the best LASER printers, but their inkjets
are less than totally pleasant.
I have a 1995 vintage Laserjet 4L, it is still printing flawlessly
and runs on the same toner cartridge for years at a time. (But that
has nothing to do with scanning)
