You
forgot the 1)  buy a $15 power supply tester  2) test the power
supply

Doesn't sound like the switch, because you say the LED's
are lighting briefly.  Today's motherboards don't have a on/off
'switch'...it's more of an on/off momentary-button to tell the motherboard
to turn on.  I would say it's working.

It's either the
motherboard or the power-supply....
