Maybe have a paper that states:

WARNING: Installing Linux on an exiting system may
cause the system to be corrupted.  If you have not
properly backed up your system prior to install,
you are on your own.  Proceed at your own risk.

And make sure anyone asking for your help consents
to it before you touch anything.
