Howdy,
  OK, and now for a solution that you can try now.  Look at:
  http://www.wifi.com.ar/english/cdrouter/
  It is a bootable Linux distro to turn a PC into an access point.  I
have not tried it, but let me know how it does work for you, if you try
it.
