[NTLUG:Discuss] A potentially useful thing

As the rule goes, if I were to think of it, it has either already been
done or has already been proven to be a bad idea or a waste of time. My
guess is, in this case, it has already been done.
I'm in Japan at the moment. I'm running Fedora 9 on my laptop. I'm
connected wired. I have a blackberry phone that is WiFi enabled and is
supposed to be able to make voice calls using the WiFi link. At the
moment, I cannot though I can get my email and stuff.
I'd like to turn my laptop into a wireless gateway that, I hope, will
also enable me to make phone calls.
Anyone have any ideas about what I need to do to turn my wireless
network device into a wireless access point? I would especially favor
anything that doesn't necessarily require a lot of destructive
configurations and such.
