[NTLUG:Discuss] Interesting kernel panic

Was moving hard drives around and when I went to boot I got:

mount error 6 mounting ext3
mount error 2 mounting none
switchroot: mount failed: 22
umount /initrd/dev failed: 2
Kernel panic - not syncing. Attempted to kill init!

Went into repair mode and tried to fdisk (or parted) /dev/hda, both
failed. Looked in /dev, only hdb existed. Shut down and looked. Sure
enough the only drive in the system was jumpered as a slave. Apparently
GRUB's understanding of (hd0) and the kernel's understanding of /dev/hda
are different because GRUB loaded the kernel.

Just thought I'd mention it in hopes it helps someone else.
