Sure, but by default X no longer listens globally, so you'll
have to enable that (it's a security hole to use "the chooser" or
X across a network for that matter, though XDMCP is a bigger hole).
It's better not to do the chooser route. Safer to do xclients via
ssh ... might also consider FreeNX/NX for remote desktop.
Physical console is the "right" way for normal admin work (just
fyi). Ideally the most secure (provided there's adequate
physical security).
