Running your own servers is not out of the question with FIOS, you just
can't run them on port 80. I know of at least one person that is running
their own server on Verizon's FIOS.

FIOS sounds good, but!! The only way that you can use it (in my local)
is to sign up for Verizon's ISP, which is MSN. Running your own servers
is out of the question with their setup. I don't know anyone that has
been able to run mail or web servers with this connection.

I'd love to be able to make use of the speeds, but no thanks. I stick
to my 768/128 unrestricted port DSL for now.
