[NTLUG:Discuss] Cisco vpn client 4.8 with SuSE 10.3

anyone tried this on Suse 10.3 ?

I downloaded the ~latest version of the 4.8 client
="vpnclient-linux-x86_64-4.8.01.0640-k9"
from "http://tuxx-home.at/archives/2007/09/24/T15_26_49/"

Ran the vpn_install script as root,

and get the following compile error:

.../vpnclient/interceptor.c:778: error: invalid operands to binary -


So I do a google search on this error and see that other people are getting
the same error with Suse 10.3, but I don't see anyone getting it to work.
And I tried to install the patch someone suggested without success.

I know this client works with Redhat.

my version of Suse is:

/home/stevem>  uname -sr   Linux 2.6.22.9-0.4-default
