I have a Sansa e260.  It's a nice compact player, but it does not
do ogg.  But will do mp3.  It works ok with Linux.

Cowon... I have the Cowon A2, it does movies (they have others for
movies too... but the A2 has the 4" screen).

The Cowon A2 (you might also want to look at the D2) shows up as
a usb storage device.  It can house music or whatever else on
its 30GB drive.  No special software needed.

Works great with Amarok.

I'd avoid the Creative players like the plague.
