I presently use WestHost, which provide a virtual server. Cost is $8
per month on a bi-annual rate. They provide the service and a Linux
base, with full web and mail services. They do a daily backup. They
have served me very well for the book that I am writing, although one
can not download from their server when using IE. They are a full Unix
/ Linux house, and were not able to answer my question as to how to fix
the problem with IE.

I am looking for recommendations of web hosting providers that are UNIX
/ Linux based. Doesn't have to be anything fancy. The goal is low cost
(yet reliable) as it is for our Boy Scout troop. We currently only use
HTML and PHP.
Reply off-list is fine by me.
