Dear Stephen,

I'm emailing you to ask for your help on a confidential search I'm currently
conducting for an Unix Administrator.  My client is a world class company
and is consistently rated as one of the top performers in their industry.
They are located in a scenic small town location that offers all amenities
without the stress of urban living. We have placed several candidates with
this client since 1998 and they are all still with our client. Many have
been promoted. They offer a very competitive compensation package. They
provide health and dental benefits plus a retirement plan that contributes a
minimum of 3% per year even if the employee contributes nothing. Relocation
assistance is also available.
My client would like a Unix Administrator with 3 years experience working as
an administrator with either AIX or HP. 2 years experience working with an
Oracle database. Experience with Shell scripting and Perl scripting. Any
experience with Citrix, Windows administration, SAN, Linux or Enterprise
monitoring would be a plus.
Duties will be allocated as follows.  You will spend 50% of your time on
Enterprise monitoring and writing scripts.  Another 25% on volume testing
and the remaining 25% of your time will be working on software application
issues.
Compensation is set for an individual with 3-4 years experience as a Unix
Administrator.  Unix Administrators with more experience may be considered
for a higher grade position. My client will hire only permanent employees
that report to the office each work day. Contracting for this position is
not possible. No sponsorship is available.
