Do you mean that you want system mail that is going *to* a root
account to be forwarded somewhere else?

If so, then you probably want to change the forwarding address 
for "root" in the /etc/aliases file.

If you're asking for something else, perhaps give more detail
as to what you're trying to accomplish?
