Sometimes the .sys file has to be present , I just run shell from a folder I
made for the XP drivers folder ( not the whole cd just drivers) and run
ndiswrapper from there ,
it maybe not what you are looking for , device not present (god had such a
time with a PCMCIA card in other distros with the same problem ), does YaST
detect it and try to install a driver for the device ? Is it a PCMCIA card
or USB ?
Have you tried SLED 10 beta 2 , I had great success with it on my Alienware
m97000 , not a pretty as 10.1 and does not fix the problem in 10.1 , but may
work .
You only need one .inf and a .sys to make ndiswrapper work most times .
Visit ndiswrapper website at freshmeat and see if the card is in the list
there .
