Tom,

Please, do your research and make sure there are not some in the area
already.
We ( as a WISP, and friends with about 10 other wisps ) have people that try
to start
these up all the time. Most of the time, you will create more interference,
and problems
by trying to do this without coordinating with others in your area.

Which area are you thinking about? I'm sure I can get you in touch with some
that are in your
area, there aren't many areas that aren't covered already.

I am thinking about building a Wireless broadband ISP service in my area
running on Linux. Does anyone know of information sources about building one
of these ?
