Cute!  Sounds like something Microsoft or the media might do to sully 
Open Source Software, but not quite right...

It's simply Intelligence gathering from Open Sources of information, 
like reading, watching and listening to Al Jazeera, Pravda and other 
such sources. It's part of what upsets companies like Apple when fans 
find out information through open channels and then talk about it. 
There's so many things available in open channels of communication, like 
the internet.
